Richard Wigley never gives the impression of being a man in a hurry – and yet he is clearly a man who moves when he wants to move. He has done some movin’ and shakin’ since he became the BBC Philharmonic’s general manager in May 2004 – and, now, aged 53, he is on the move again, after precisely ten years.
